Founded in November 2020, Sister Safaris is a travel agency based in Cape Town, South Africa. We share our experiences, knowledge and adventures with our clients. We use our broad knowledge and passion for travel to plan specialised local and international itineraries, that allow us to help you with all your travel needs.

Beginning as Sister Safaris, we've grown with your support from passionate explorers to a thriving travel company. In June, we embarked on a new chapter and are excited to introduce JourneyTo, our new identity, with the same dedicated team. Our new website marks the start of this redefined journey, promising exciting horizons and enhanced travel experiences. We extend our gratitude to our amazing clients, whose spirit of adventure inspires and propels us forward.

Sarah-Jane Hughes

Founding MD & Marketing

Born in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

and later moved to Cape Town. Having traveled to Hluhluwe Umflozi Game Reserve with her father from a young age, invoking love for the bush. And not just a passion for the bush, a love for traveling, adventuring and creating memories. And learning to appreciate everything that makes these spaces so unique. SJ studied for four years at Vega: School of Branding, obtaining her Honors in Strategic Brand Communications.

Vanessa
Walker

Travel Consultant

Born in Zambia, grew up in Harare Zimbabwe, and later moved to Cape Town. Growing up so close to nature, Vanessa developed a deep love and passion for the African bush from an early age, eventually leading her to a career in the travel industry.
With 22 years in the industry, she has vast knowledge and experience in planning and creating tailored itineraries for travelers within Africa

Christine Hughes

Founder
Born in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa Christine has had a love for wildlife from a very young age. While growing up, Christine loved watching National Geographic, which fueled her obsession with nature. Her passion has continued to grow; and she takes every opportunity to escape to the African bush. Now through Sister Safaris, Christine is able to travel and enjoy the bush even more.

BRANDON
RYAN

Travel Consultant

Born in Cape Town, grew up in the water surfing. He has always loved traveling, being fortunate enough to travel to places like Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Europe and multiple islands off of Africa. Brandon's enthusiasm for travel made him a great fit for Sister Safaris company culture.
