When is the best time to visit Botswana?

The Okavango Delta has two seasons - the dry season (November to the end of March)

and the rainy wet season (May to the end of August).

Each season has a different impact on the wildlife, so make sure you do research into the season that best suits your style of holiday. The dry season is generally favoured, allowing for beautiful sunny warm days to be enjoyed throughout your trip.

OKAVANGO DELTA 

The most well-known area in Botswana, The Okavango Delta is a biodiverse pulsing wetland that offers a unique experience. From mokoro boat trips to guided bush walks, you are sure to have a memorable trip. The best time of the year to visit the Okavango Delta is between July and October, which is when the water levels are the highest.
